Abdulmajeed Alsukhan is a Saudi Arabian serial entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Tamara - the leading fintech platform in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region, and the first homegrown fintech unicorn in Saudi Arabia. Tamara offers a Sharia-compliant financial and payment solutions for online and in-store shoppers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait to split their payments with no late fees. Tamara has strategically partnered with renowned global brands such as SHEIN, Jarir, Noon, IKEA, H&M, Farfetch, as well as tens of thousands of SMEs. At present, Tamara has over 13 million registered customers and 50,000 partners. This growth has manifested in a dedicated workforce of more than 600 professionals spread across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Germany, and Vietnam. Prior to his role at Tamara, Abdulmajeed co-founded Nana, a digital grocery shopping platform in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, he spearheaded the establishment of Habli, an on-demand hyperlocal delivery service, showcasing his commitment to innovation in the tech-driven marketplace. Abdulmajeed has a Master of Arts in Economic Policy from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from California State University, Northridge.
