Head of Government Affairs - EMEA | Ant Group

Ms. Agnès Bastaert is the Head of Public Policy and Government Affairs for EMEA at Ant International. She joined Ant Group in 2020 as the inaugural government affairs team member in EMEA to drive public policy engagement in the region. In her day-to-day responsibilities, Ms. Bastaert undertakes a broad range of government and regulatory engagements in connection with Ant International’s business activities in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Ant Group, Ms. Bastaert was a Director of Government Affairs at Euronext, a group of European stock exchanges, where she led engagement on financial services and capital markets policy in France and at EU level. Agnès has an academic background in international relations, political economy and EU law and holds a master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris.
