Areiel Wolanow is the Managing Director of Finserv Experts, an independent consultancy that implements new business models based on emerging technologies. Areiel serves as an advisor to governments (including UK Parliament), central banks (including the Bank of Thailand, regulators (including OKJA), and transnational authorities (including WEF, WTO, and G20) on topics including AI, blockchain, and quantum computing. Prior to founding Finserv Experts, he Areiel worked with IBM, where he launched their financial services practice for East Africa and their blockchain practice for the ASEAN region.
Areiel received his masters degree in finance from Cornell University and his bachelors degree in econometrics from UC Irvine. In addition to his advisory work, Areiel is currently engaged with several fintechs to help them drive the best value possible from the emerging technologies they offer to their customers.
