Irina is one of the original founders and Head of Strategy for Zing, the new open-market global payments fintech empowering people to live their best international lives when it comes to converting, holding, sending, and spending, international currencies. Zing has been built to put the customer first; delivering best-in-class experiences and customer support. Born within HSBC, Zing leverages fintech approaches to customer-centric and agile development, and HSBC’s deep experience in international payments. Before Zing, Irina was leading HSBC strategy consulting for Global Retail products and Asset Management within HSBC Wealth & Personal Banking. Prior to that she spent 10 years as a consultant, for McKinsey and Company and internally for the Natwest Group, covering a wide range of topics, industries and aspects of financial services. Irina has 4 Masters degrees in Finance and Strategy from universities in the UK, Italy, Sweden and Russia.
