Founder and CEO | World Wide Generation

Manjula started her career in mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships with Shell Australia, and was the youngest staff member to be selected for the group’s Global Business Leadership Programme to prepare leaders for executive level. Having lived in 5 different countries around the world, and experiencing poverty and injustice first hand, her passion for international development and human rights grew and moved her to pursue a career in the civil society arena. Manjula was appointed to the advisory committee of the Global Partnerships Forum in New York, which worked in partnership with the United Nations to build strategies around the delivery of the Millennial and Sustainable Development Goals. Manjula founded World Wide Generation in 2016, as a global facilitator to help shape the future of sustainability problem solving and deliver the 17 SDGs by 2030. To achieve this mission Manjula also invented the G17Eco technology platform as a sustainability monitoring and marketplace global system solution which could bring together government, business, civil society and citizens as one ecosystem. In 2018, she was appointed to the City Of London’s Global Steering Committee for Sustainable Finance. Manjula won the UKBAA’s Best Led Female Investment award of the year, and was voted 100 of the Most Influential Women in Blockchain and Fintech globally. Manjula was invited into No10 Downing Street to pitch WWG’s strategy, and at the 2018 UN General Assembly, Britain’s PM, Theresa May, announced WWG as the Technology Partner for the UK’s Sustainable Development Capital Initiative. In 2020 Manjula was selected to be commemorated in the British Parliament’s “300 years of leadership” historical book, as a futurist, trend setter and for her contribution to global sustainable development execution at scale through her breakthrough invention of the G17Eco platform. Manjula's family own an international portfolio of sustainability businesses and noted for founding, scaling and selling the UK’s largest solar energy generator, Lightsource.
