We will examine the essentiality of training AI models on extensive real data and customized synthetic data to detect voice manipulation and AI-generated profile images and social media backgrounds. Additionally, we will assess the efficacy of generative AI compared to conventional fraud detection systems. Furthermore, we will emphasize the importance of promoting expertise and best practices in data sharing across industries, while also addressing data biases that could lead to false positives and potentially discriminatory results, as well considering the complexities of AI explainability.
