Partner, Financial Service Practice | Kearney

Rana is a seasoned innovator and advisor that has more than a decade of experience at the forefront of the digital revolution. Her experience spans a wide range of organisations and geographies (EMEA and APAC) – from potential disruptors grappling with rapid growth through to large global corporates mounting their own defensive initiatives to ward off threats from disruptors. She supports her clients to unlock new sources of growth, to achieve ambitious productivity targets, and to acquire and transform the differentiating capabilities essential to win in the market. Rana specialises in the development and launch of new sustainable digital business models, compelling customer experiences, products and services. She guides organisations in aligning their strategies to what is materially important to their various stakeholder groups and in doing so, helps them achieve growth, sustainably. Rana Lahoud has had an interesting journey on her way to joining Kearney’s Middle East office. She spent more than a decade in Australia before returning to the Middle East region in 2024 as a Kearney partner, building on her experience with several other consultancies. “We’re tackling big challenges here in the Middle East region, which plays to my strengths and passions,” she continues. “I like engaging in systems-level thinking, connecting the dots, recognizing patterns and interrelationships. In an increasingly connected world, a more holistic approach should guide our thinking and the way we solve problems and design solutions. Given the GCC’s growth agenda, there's more room to think expansively.” Even after more than 15 years of consulting to financial services firms in Australia and the Middle East, Rana remains very enthusiastic about the industry’s potential. “The financial services sector is the essential vehicle that moves money and allocates resources. This is a big responsibility!” she says excitedly. “I’m very interested in how we as a society can efficiently allocate capital to best impact society, to fund a just transition to a more sustainable and inclusive future. Financial services can be purposeful and its impact tangible in every aspect of society.”
