Thomas holds a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen and a PhD from the University of Lausanne. He founded several companies and has broad experience as CEO and board member of various companies in the financial industry. He is currently engaged in FinTech and Investment Management research at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Key areas of focus include the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agent based Modelling (ABM), Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Quantum Computing in financial markets. He also implements this with his company AVACO.
